100s of Women Who Care Lincoln and 100’s of Men Who Care-Lincoln held a joint event at Pinnacle Bank Arena to raise money for a local nonprofit. Pinnacle Bank generously sponsored the event. Chosen to receive funds raised from the event was Foster Care Closet– an organization that supports children throughout their duration in the foster care system by providing quality new or used clothing and other needed items. Associate Director, Tim Balzer informed us they were $16,000 short to purchase items needed to serve kids over the Fall & Winter. What a great surprise to deliver checks totaling over $18,000! Thank you to all who attended and those who could not but sent your donation! We continue to make lasting local impact, 100 dollars at a time.
